    Mando was born in Piraeus - the largest seaport of Greece located on northeast coast Saronic gulf of Aegean sea, the first mentions of Piraeus concern to an extreme antiquity. Soon Mando has moved to live to Athenes where has grown under supervision of the father (the jazz pianist) and mother, who was a classical opera singer - soprano. In extremely early age she began to develop the her talents and show interest to music, having earned herself a label “miracle child”.

    In the age of four years Mando already had improbable vocal abilities, she easily could sing opera arias, gospels and jazz music. Her parents admired with musical abilities of the daughter, have signed her in the National Conservatory on lessons of a piano and the theory of music. Besides she also took lessons of a vocal and dances. In the age of 10 years Mando did beginning independently study play on a guitar and on various percussion instruments. Her selflessness and passion had quickly led her to compose her own music.

    In the age of 14 years, except for study at school, music works, lessons of English and French, Mando also acted in a musical “Jesus Christ - the Superstar”, which has gone uphill under management of Mimis Plessas and Dimitris Malavetas. Since then she sang in various orchestras and was the participant of various jazz groups and a trios, singing music of all styles: jazz, Greek, European, American, Arabian. It has given Mando an opportunity to work with a various sound with ease, to sing and compose music of any type.

    After leaving school in 18 years she has signed the first sound recording contract with CBS company, which has given her the international hit “Fill me up” and has given Mando chance to start the international career at very young age. Within five years she lived in America, where Mando took up vocal training with the very famous Hal Sheaffer - the person, who trained in a vocal Barbara Streisand and Lisa Minelli. Also she cooperated with many musicians, manufacturers and with other people which helped her talents to grow. Her various knowledge and the international advantage have characterized Mando as the Greek female singer with an international voice.

    Sound recording company Minos from which Mando worked within seven years, has returned her from America and has released six new, even more successful albums of the singer: “Dos mou ena fili” (“Give me a kiss”), “Afto to kalokeri” (“This summer”), “Ptisi gia dio” (“Flight for two”), “Kinisi triti” (“Third move”), “Esthisis” (“Senses”), “I diki mas I agapi” (“Our love”), и “Anisiho vlema” (“Unease look”). Her success has drawn to her attention of Sony Music company, which has intercepted Mando and has meanwhile released three more her new albums: “Ston evdomo ourano” (“On Seventh Sky”), “Gia oles tis fores” (“For All Times”), “Prodosia” (“Betrayal”).

    During her career, Mando has sung many varios hits and acted in Los Angeles, London, Paris, Toronto, Montreal, New York and Chicago. She sung on Greek language with Jean Michel Jarre one of his tracks under the name “Zoi” (“Life”). This cooperation - her big achievement as the godfather of electronic music has also entrusted to Mando sing in his composition “C’est la vie” with original orchestration. Also she sang with other known performers. Besides, Mando had concert tours and worked with many recognized Greek executors and composers: Marinella, D. Mitropanos, T. Voskopoulos, P. Terzis, C. Nikolopoulos, D. Galani and others. She acted in various concert halls, including the New York’s Madison Square Garde and Chicago’s Aircrown.

    Mando cooperated with many best Greek songpoets, and not only, with such, as Fivos, A. Papadimitriou, K. Haritodiplomenos, N. Germanou, G. Theofanous, E. Giannatsoulia. Besides many compositions of Mando were sung not her only, but also many other actors, such as P. Terzis, K. Kouka... There are many hits were released at Mando, for example “Danika” (“Borrowed”), “Faros” (“Lighthouse”), “Ston evdomo ourano” (“On the seventh sky”), “Esi” (“You”), “Fotia sta prepi” (“Burn the have too’s”), etc., etc. By the way speaking, once Mando sung a duet together with turkish singer Sertab Erener - the representative of  Turkey on Eurovision Song Contest 2003 to which the victory over Contest has got.

     Mando composes mainly on the her guitar and writes boths for the Greek singers, and for foreign. More recently she has composed track “Where you are” for Jessica Simpson, which has held in charts in “hot 100” during two months, and also has been chosen as the basic musical theme for new film “Here On Earth”, manufactures of the company 20th Сentury Fox. While it has been sold in amount more than 1 million copies.

     Mando loves music and the nature, they are her sources of inspiration. She adores sports, navigation, tennis, bowling and cooking (she is the wonderful cook). Her favourite hobby - to look out in ocean... Mando also likes to read about psychology and to be engaged in interior decoration. Her dream - to create her own family, so she could divide with someone the love which fills her inside.

     Mando was the first Greek singer, which fan club has been formed in 1992. Now it contain more than 20 000 members total. She also was the first singer at whom the own web-site 5 years ago has appeared. At present her web-site has updated by Sony Music Greece.
