- Portuguese telebroadcasting company RTP has declared, that the representative of Portugal on Eurovision Song Contest 2004 will be named at January, 25, 2004. He will be determined on results of televoting on final of teleprogram Operaçäo Triunfo. The author of winning song will receive a prize of €2500. By the way, to participation in Operaçäo Triunfo are supposed Portuguese nationals only.
